The Hugo Junckers hangar is a wonderful new home for the legendary aircraft Aunt JU.

The building, combining modern architecture with the highest standards of sustainability, was completed in 2015.

noi! Event- und Catering GmbH (the operator of the venue) approach Deelight GmbH at an early stage of planing to develop a technical concept for the location. It was necessary to find a flexible and affordable solution for video technology. The highest priority was the ease of use for, the ease of remodeling the system and the compatibility with other systems installed.

The hangar is located at the very heart of Mönchengladbach airport. With the 1.100sqm event area and vast garden area, suitable for BBQ parties, the location gives the guests an opportunity to observe takeoffs and landings of business jets and helicopters at one of the most charming airports in Europe.

In the course of development, a screen space of over 10 square meters with full HD resolution was installed, which since opening has proven to be an optimal and cost effective solution.

The high-power LED floodlights, enable to change the atmosphere of the hall at the push of a button, without the need for long and expensive construction times. The sound is perfectly tailored to the hall and can be easily adjusted to the variety of setups.
